Danny Creech

Danny Creech is the Assistant Instructor of Machado Jiu Jitsu Shreveport location.

He began martial arts at the age of 8 years old and began competing year round at the age of 15 when he could drive himself to tournaments.

He competed year-round from 1990 – 2003 in Olympic taekwondo and currently holds a rank of 6th degree black belt Kukkiwon. In 2003, Mr. Creech began training in Jiu Jitsu. In 2009, he began traveling to Dallas weekly to learn from Professor Carlos Machado and in 2014 opened RCJ Machado Academy in Shreveport. "My passion is teaching quality martial arts while helping students transform into more confident and empowered people which can change their lives."

Taekwondo:

  • 1990-1996 multiple medals at local tournaments, 1994 AR State Championship-silver
  • 1998-2003 6 time Oklahoma state gold medalist, 1999 North American Open- bronze
  • 1999-2000 Sooner Games-Gold medal
  • Quarterfinalist 2000 Collegiate and National Championships
  • 2013 Promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt Kukkiwon
